WARNING: Always wear safety glasses, hearing protection, long pants, and leather gloves when using a chaisaw.

  1. Place the saw on a firm, stable surface.
  2. Place your left hand on the top of the engine.
  3. Move the ignition switch to "ON" and engage the choke.
  4. Holding the saw firmly with yoy left hand, pull up quickly on the starting cord.
  5. After about 4 pulls, the engine will fire.
  6. If the engine dies, turn the choke off and repeat step 4.
  7. Hold the saw firmly with left hand on the wrap bar and right hand on the trigger handle.
  8. Rev the saw once or twice to lube the chain and check the chain for slack.

Well if you are asking this question then you should do it with the saw on the ground. Hold the top handle with your left hand. Put your right foot in the "hole" where the trigger is holding the back of the saw on the ground.

Then pull the handle. Make sure you have the saw set to run, full choke and the throttle locked wide open.

When the saw tries to fire the first time, set to half choke and it should start.

When it starts make sure the choke is all the way off. Then let it warm up a minute and go start cutting.

*****DONT CHECK THE CHAIN FOR SLACK WHEN IT IS RUNNING!!!!*****

if you bump the throttle you just lost some fingers!!!!!
