I read this in a DYI magazine, but I have yet to try it. Sounds solid, though, but you must be very careful.
Take a piece of twine dipped in lighter fluid (or some similar accellerant) and tie it around the bottle where you want the bottom to break off. Being VERY careful, light the twine and allow it to burn for a bit. Then shock the bottle by dunking it in cold water. You should have a clean break right where the twine was.
Again, be very, very careful; this would not be the time to invoke your inner Steve-O. Or John Orr.
You get in the ballroom and see a floating bottle. You click on that bottle and then go to the glass and click on the bottle on your left bottom corner. then you click on the glass.

A ship in a bottle
Take a metal cylinder, and place a spring in the bottom (as a shock absorber). Inside the metal cylinder, sitting atop the spring is a glass bottle. Between the cylinder and the bottle (around the sides and the bottom of the glass bottle) is a vacuum. Both the vacuum and the glass serve as insulators for anything that is to be stored in the glass bottle. This means that, if you store something warm in the inner glass bottle, it will be very difficult for the heat to conduct through the glass AND the vacuum...and the material will stay warm. If you store something cold in the bottle, it will be very difficult for heat to conduct through the cylinder, the vacuum, and the glass...and the material will stay cold.
You can filter the reagent using a filter paper and funnel to remove the fine solid powder. Alternatively, you can decant the liquid portion of the reagent carefully, leaving the solid powder at the bottom of the bottle. Be sure to handle the process in a controlled environment to prevent contamination.

It is easier to remove air from a balloon because it is made of a flexible material that can contract as the air is removed, allowing the pressure inside to decrease. In contrast, a glass bottle is rigid and does not easily change shape, making it harder to create a vacuum inside to remove the air.

A glass bottle is used as a container for many reagents.
Glass makers often emboss numbers, letters, and symbols on the bottom of bottle for various reasons. Some of the numbers denote the manufacturer of the bottle. Some reference the company to bottle was manufactured for or the product the bottle was meant for.
