β 9y agoTo remove a melted plastic bag from the bottom of a car, let the car cool down a bit, but not completely. Take a metal knife and chip the plastic gobs off.

β 9y agoBy mixing a paste of water and baking soda, and applying it to the area of the roaster oven where the bag melted, you should be able to clean the plastic off. If baking soda is not available you can try using cream of tartar.

It is history. The paper bag and iron is for wax. If you did that first, you just melted more plastic into the fabric. It will not come out. If you had froze it first, it might have popped off, or it may have already been into the fabric.

To remove melted plastic from a dishwasher's heating element, first allow it to cool completely. Once cooled, carefully scrape off as much plastic as possible using a plastic scraper or credit card. Then, pour vegetable oil over the affected area to soften the remaining plastic, and use a soft cloth to wipe it away. Finally, run the dishwasher on a hot water cycle with a cup of vinegar to help remove any residue.
There is typically only one plastic bag inside another plastic bag, unless they are packaged in multiples.
You should not eat the plastic. With a large bird like a turkey you should be able to cut away the outer layer of skin and meat and so be sure to discard the bag completely.
