How you play minecraft is they’re are 3 modes, Adventure, Survival, and Creative. What you do in Creative is build whatever you would like! In adventure, you cannot build or do anything. All you can do is move around. And in survival you cannot build whatever you want, you have to get material on your own

Some people may still own copies of Minecraft Indev, so you may ask them. Minecraft Indev is not available on minecraft.net.

You can still try to use this tool called 'MCNostalgia'. Search it up on the Minecraft Forums. This tool patches earlier versions of the game, enabling you to play older versions, or to test out old mods. As of the latest version, you can play Indev on it.

The default commands are 'WASD' to move, mouse to look around, left click to attack, right click to use item, 'E' for inventory, 'ESC' to go to game menu.

You buy the game and create an account. From there you can either play on line (multi-player or single player) or offline (single player only)
