Buy a home pregnancy test at the drug store. Open the package. They often recommend using the first morning's bathroom visit to do the test and they also recommend waiting until at least 5 days before your period would normally start. Urinate a little bit into the toilet, then stick the end of the pregnancy test in midstream. Replace the cap back onto the end and set the test on a level surface. Wait however long is called for in that particular test - usually five to ten minutes. Then read the test according to the instruction sheet to determine whether positive or negative.
