Mr. Davis: I entered into a loan with Downery S/L January 2008. for a condo I purchased in La Quinta, California. As you can imagine I am under water IE: value to loan amount. As you know you purchased Downey some time ago. I have never missed or been late with a payment and am today asking for a reduction of the interested rate. Your agent informed me you now do not modify condo loans so I am a man without an island. Downey agreed to the condo loan, you purchased Downey I am upside with my loan & your bank refuses to assist a GOOD/CURENT payer. I now have no where to go since my value won't justify a re-fi and you refuse to modify my loan, (isn't that similar to price fixing). I am appealing to you for a simple interest rate reduction allowing me to contine to remain curent on my loan payment.
