How do you change a rear indicator bulb in a xsara Picasso?

You have to remove the light cluster which is behind the luggage compartment side trim, disconnect the wiring plug ,then remove the light bulb unit after undoing the plastic wing nut,now remove the whole light unit,you can then gain access to the bulb you require by unscrewing the bulbholder retaining nut from its shell .

To change a front indicator bulb, you will need the bonnet open. Before touching any electrical parts it is always a good idea to disconect the negative to avoid short circuiiting anything. Reach behind the indicator unit, and twist the bulb holder. It should then pull out. To gain access to the bulb holder you may have to remove other items, depending on which model you have. Once this is done, the bulb can be twisted and then removed. Replace with a new bulb, put the bulb holder back in the indicator unit and test to see if it works. To change a rear indicator bulb, open the boot lid and unscrew the two screws in the light lense. The lense will now pull straight of and you will have access to the bulbs. Twist the bulb and pull it out from the unit. Replace with a new bulb, screw the lense back on and test to see if it works.

go into the boof of estate or saloon, pop the little cap of the side of the inner boot, undo the little screw and at the backand then the light cluster should fall of then take the bulb out of the light cluster and replace the same way as taking, be careful because if ytou drop the bolt whilst tring to put it back on it will fall down into the chassis of the car and rattle and if it is a diesel then be extra careful as they rattle even more. hope that helps!

Ok its very simple. At the rear inside the rear area there is a small square area which gives access to the lights.

You will need a torch as not so much light.

Once you light up at the bottom of the light fitting there is a metal clip that hold the whole of the rear light relector with bulbs. With a screw driver push this gently and the lower part of the complete light will clip off from the car body, then come out and slowly prise the top out...this will release the whole complete light replector with bulbs....change the bulb and replace back...make sure its clipped in properly...all the best n good luck

First undo the three screws that hold the housing on. Then ease the housing away from the side of the van. There are three pins at 90 degreesto the side of the van that hold the housing in place, it is not a hinge as the manual implies. Don't try and pivot the housing, push/wriggle it away from the side of the van. Access to the bulb housing is now easy.

Gently pry off the plastic cover, take out bulb and replace.
