I'm sure you can't bake a cupcake in the dishwasher LOL.
.............................
It's amazing what sort of crazy ideas turn up on the internet, but until now, the idea of baking cupcakes in the dishwasher has not appeared. Cooking salmon in the dishwasher has - see attached website. If one were to try, the cake batter would need to be sealed in a water-tight container to prevent the batter making contact with hot water (as the salmon is sealed in attached recipe.) But that poses the problem of allowing steam to escape from the heated batter, and space for the cake to rise. One might try placing the batter in an open pan and running the dishwasher on "dry" only, but that is not likely to provide enough heat for enough time to fully cook the batter. On the other hand, the right engineer with the right dishwasher might succeed.
Yes but the cupcake gets kiindy funky
No.

any cupcake tin
Yes, that would be a good idea to keep the cupcakes from sticking to the pan. I've also seen aluminum cupcake wrappers, those work well too. Put the papers inside a cupcake pan though, not directly on an oven rack.
As long as the cake box says.

4 dozen is equal to 48. Cupcake tins, when you bake them, typically come by a 6 cupcake tin. THEN YOU NEED TO BAKE ONE DOZEN AT A TIME OR PURCHASE MORE CUPCAKE TINS TO BAKE IN. CUPCAKE TINS ALSO COME IN A 12 CUPCAKE SIZE=OR A DOZEN
The first mention of the cupcake can be traced back to cira 1796, when a recipe for "a light cake to bake in small cups" was written in American Cookery by Amelia Simmons
