Oil based cleansers are great for hard wood floors. Water or too many chemicals can really mess up hard wood floors. Every once in a while you can use the steam shark it works great.
Mrs. Meyers, Bona, and Seventh Generation all provide cleaning materials for hard wood floors. Seventh Generation is even a natural free and clear cleaner for healthier cleaning options.
For cleaning wood floors, it is recommended to use a pH-neutral wood floor cleaner specifically designed for hardwood floors. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that can damage the wood. Additionally, using a microfiber mop or cloth to gently clean and dry the floors is effective in preserving the wood's finish.
I find the Swiffer Wet Jet is the best cleaning product for hardwood floors. It is easy to use and has a great cleaning solution that is safe for hardwood floors.
Hard wood floors
Hard wood floors are considered better than carpets if someone has an allergy because carpets hold dust and pollen far more. Hard wood floors are also easier to clean. Carpets are better at giving a warmer feel to the room and are softer on the feet.
You can clean most of the furniture in your home by using cleaning products like windex or pledge. If you want to clean the floors, for carpet a vacuum, for hard wood a swiffer.
That depends what kind of 'film' it is.

The best product to use for cleaning these floors is hot water and a bit of vinagear. Using other products tends to leave them looking dull.
