The reason will more than likely be because when you changed the pads you had to compress the caliper piston in order to put new pads on. you did'NT compress it far enough. did you have a hard time putting thr caliper and pads back over the rotor. If so this is your problem. When you say that the tire doesn't spin, do you mean it feels like someone has their foot on the brake or that it doesn't spin as freely as it did befor you changed the brakes. write back and let me know.
try replacing the actuator valve on the front axle
By spending a lot of money to buy the tools neccasary to do the removal procedure.
try replacing the spark plugs
teeth on fly wheel may be rounded or teeth on stearter drive are rounded.
try turning your steering wheel hard either way WHILE turning the key, sometimes the steering wheel locking mechanism interferes. you wont be able to turn your steering wheel like your actually turning, just move it and it should let the key turn
the drive shaft is connected with the wheels so if it brakes, you will be Abe to steer but the car wont move since the connection between the engine and wheel is lost.
yes the brake caliper has to fit into the wheel a smaller wheel may fit the lugs but wont go over the disk and caliper (or drum)
Brakes locked, wheel bearing frozen to spindle, emergency brake on.
i hope you are replacing them not just removing them as you wont get too far without them
Stuck brakes, broken axle shaft, failed transmission....
there is what they call a key that locks the wheel and axle together must had stuck on the old wheel
if you mean it wont move, perhaps you have drained the transmission oil and not the engine oil. this would cause it not to move.
This depends entirely what type of car this is but: There is a serious failure of brakes or other safety equipment.
you probably wont be able to move? or you can take it around the block, then when you get back dump some water on the calipers.. if it sizzles then there is a good chance they are sticking :)
Brake locked up? Broken return spring? (Drum brakes)? Parking brake cable frozen and not releasing? Disk brake? Frozen caliper? Bad wheel bearing?
If the brakes were working before bleeding and now are worse, then is possible all of the air is not out of the system. Check the wheel cylinders and master cylinder for leaks, and re check any parts just replaced. It is possible that the last repair done to the system caused the problem.
lesrn how to drive and you wont have these problems
