I think that any of the models of Casio Exilim High speed are good. High resolution and HD video, as well as high-fps video.

not exactly an answer, but I have the same problem. It appearred after removing the USB device. Removing the battery for a long time does not help. I removed the memory card also. I put them back and then reattached the camera to the computer. All to no effect. The camera does not boot up, but is remaining in a frozen state similar to when the USB is plugged in for photo transfer....EXCEPT...the camera lens remains extended. It seems like it is frozen. Is there a reset button? Is there a PRAM battery I can remove? ***************************** I has this issue with a Casio camera & found a work-around. My camera lens moved slightly, but wouldn't go far ( about 3-5mm). First try setting the camera on a firm surface, but touching a soft cloth. Press the power switch & hold it. Do this a couple of times & see if you feel the resistance of the camera trying to open. If that doesn't work, try this : Hold the power switch down, If the lens doesn't move at all, release & press again. Very gently, using a fingernail, press slightly against the edge of one of the collapsing rings. What usually happens with mine is that the lens will extend fully, then retract & the camera shuts off. I have trouble periodically with this event, but I've learned to play, til I can see movement, then press power again (no movement) then press power while exerting very gentle pressure. So far, it always worked. The camera was stolen last week & I hope the thief doesn't see this post!
