Why do Mammals with a high rate of respiration need to have a high heart rate?

To have a high rate of respiration requires a high blood flow to distribute the oxygen to the tissues, this increases the heart rate it also increasing the blood flow to the tissues.

Why do mammals with high respiration need to have a high heart rate?

The answer is quite simple. To have a high rate of respiration requires a high blood flow to distribute the oxygen to the tissues. Increasing heart rate is one means of increasing the blood flow to the tissues. The other means in increasing the amount of blood that is from the left ventricle with each contraction.

How will you describe the sequence and oxygen carbon dioxide and blood flow in your own words?

Oxygen is inhaled into the lungs, where it is transferred to the blood and carried by red blood cells to tissues. Carbon dioxide is produced by cells as a waste product and transported back to the lungs through the blood to be exhaled. This flow of oxygen and carbon dioxide ensures that cells receive the oxygen they need for energy production and get rid of carbon dioxide.

I always have cold hands how do i get the blood to flow through them?

What blocks blood flow to the kidneys?

The kidneys need a good blood supply. The main artery to the kidney is called the renal artery. Reduced blood flow through the renal artery can hurt kidney function. A complete blockage of blood flow to the kidney can often result in permanent kidney failure.

How do tissues get the oxygen they need for energy production?

The tissues get oxygen from oxygenated blood supply for energy production.

Why does the heart need valves?

The reason why we need we need valves in our heart is because the valves in our heart will open and close. When the valves in our heart open, they allow blood to go into places in our body where blood is needed. When the blood passes through, the valve closes. They regulate the blood flow.

How is Peripheral Vascular Disease related to smoking?

PVD is caused by a slowage or stoppage of blood through the blood vessels in the arms and legs. Smoking causes vasoconstriction ( constriction or narrowing of the blood vessels). When the blood can't flow as fast through the veins (because they are narrowed), the tissues are waiting for the blood get to them because they need oxygen to produce energy. In the meantime they need energy to survive so they produce the energy without oxygen. The byproduct of that production is lactic acid, which builds up in the tissue causing the pain you experience with PVD.

How does oxygen reach the respiring tissues?

Oxygen is transported to the respiring tissues through the bloodstream. It is first inhaled into the lungs, where it diffuses into the blood vessels in the alveoli. Hemoglobin in red blood cells binds to the oxygen, allowing it to be carried throughout the body and released to cells in need of oxygen for respiration.
