That limitation depends on mainly you. Now if your talking sex, that then would depend on your partner, some people dig it some people dont. Anyway, its strictly a personal choice that you have to live with after its done and your friends and family should accept and respect your decision to put a hole in your tongue. ________________________ Immediately after the piercing is done (and this should be told to you at the time if it's not then you would be wise to find a different artist); no oral sex, no kissing, no activity that would allow others bodily fluids to come in contact with your tongue, no spicy food, no yeasty foods, no beer, no swimming, be gentle with your piercing, no playing with it and no removing the jewelry for the first month. For the first week you should abide by all of the above AND; no hard solid foods, no hot drinks, little to no soda, twice daily cleaning with alcohol-free mouth wash and if you feel it would help (I do) one 15 minute salt-water soak per day (iodine free sea-salt is best). After one month then you really only need to abstain from oral sex and others bodily fluids after 3 months then you should be safe to engage in anything you please.
you should eat and drink alot of cold stuff, like ice cream, ice, ice cold water and so on.. you shouldn't eat or drink hot stuff like soup, hot sauce, hot tea, and so on...............
DON"T EAT ANYTHING WITH MILK IN IT!!!! can lead to a yeast infection in your mouth. this includes ice cream, cheese, i guess yogurt, milk (of course), and anything milk related.
Most people actually can eat almost immediately after a tongue piercing.
Your mouth heals fairly quickly, but the less you irritate a wound, the more likely it is to heal quickly. More abraisive foods (like toast) or acidic foods (like grapefruits) can irritate the fresh wound. Where softer, low acid foods, are easier to eat (like yogurt).
yes you can omg!, i had my tongue piercing yesterday and i am eating banana's, you have to chew them slowly though bc otherwise youll bite your tongue bar but its soothing if they are cold and my advice is to cut the banana really thin
Tongue + Barbell = Tongue Piercing Tongue piercing: a piercing in the center of the tongue located approximately 3/4" from the tip of the tongue through the connective tissue joining the two muscle groups that form the tongue. Used as a means of self expression or a personal statement, some times used to enhance sexual pleasure for either gender.

A tongue piercing is a piercing through the tongue or any part of the tongue, including the web underneath.

If it's not healed, you should avoid it.
Well you can but I don't think that you're supposed to.
No. A genital piercing includes any piercing on or around your genitals. Not your tongue.
No tongue piercing doesn't cause cancer.
Food would be a good thing, unlike a tongue piercing you can eat almost anything so long as you rinse after eating and stay on something for swelling.
Its just a fancy way of saying "tongue peircing".
