The right side is the pulmonary circuit. (The left side is the systemic circuit.)
From the left ventricle.
The circulation of venous blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs and back to the left atrium of the heart.
The right side of the heart pumps blood to the lungs
The left side of the heart receives blood from the lungs before pumping it through the aorta and out to the rest of your body. This is referred to as the systemic circuit. After the body is nourished and oxygenated, the blood returns to the right side of the heart carrying waste and carbon dioxide to the lungs. This begins the pulmonary circuit that ends when the blood, once again, returns to the left side of the heart.
The Pulmonary Blood Circuit

left ventricle
From the left ventricle.
The pulmonary circuit is responsible for carrying oxygen-poor blood from the heart to the lungs for oxygenation, while the systemic circuit carries oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the rest of the body to deliver oxygen and nutrients. In the pulmonary circuit, blood flows between the heart and lungs, while in the systemic circuit, blood flows between the heart and body tissues.
The circulation of venous blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs and back to the left atrium of the heart.
The right side of the heart pumps blood to the lungs
The left part of the heart is responsible for pumping through the systemic circulation. This circuit takes blood to the body tissues.
The left and right pulmonary veins carry oxygenated blood back to the left atrium of the heart
The left side of the heart receives blood from the lungs before pumping it through the aorta and out to the rest of your body. This is referred to as the systemic circuit. After the body is nourished and oxygenated, the blood returns to the right side of the heart carrying waste and carbon dioxide to the lungs.
