It Depends On the Engine that you're working with.On the 420A Engine then the Alternator is located behind the motor on the passenger side of the Engine bay. It can be seen just behind and below the plastic covering for the Timing Belt.On a 4G63(Turbocharged Engine) Engine it is located up Front on the Drivers side of the Engine Bay. Facing the Fender on the Drivers side of the Vehicle look just to the Left of the Strut Tower and Down there you Will See it.There is also the 4G64(Convertibles Only) Engine, But Located in the Same Spot as the 4G63 Engine.

I am pretty sure the Expo LRV and the Eagle Summit wagon are identical. Mine has the 2.4L engine, there was also a 1.8L engine. The 2.4L version is a 4G64 type engine. There should be a metal plate on the back of the engine compartment that states the engine type. (In the center just below the hood.) Just make sure that the engine you replace it with is the same type.
