Natural Henna is made from the leaves of the henna plant. They are ground up and mixed to a paste with a liquid, be it lemon juice, coffee or tea or bottled water. If the quality is good enough it can be used for body art, if it`s not that high, it can still be used for dyeing nails and hair. The colour on the skin can vary from a reddish brown tone to a cherry black depending on which body part you put it on, how long you left the paste on, how well you follow the aftercare instructions and where the powder was harvested. If you want to determine the resulting colour on your hair, you need to factor in your natural hair colour and look for recipes that will give you the colour you`re looking for. There are plenty of mixing options for henna for hair and a lot of tones can be achieved from red to brown. Even black is possible if you dye with Henna first and then follow up dyeing with Indigo. Sadly you can find a lot of products online that are called henna but really are not, it`s mostly chemicals with little or no henna at all. If you`re interested in buying henna powder or paste, buy from a reputable henna artist in your area and ask them any questions you might have.
HENNA or KOOL AID POWDER work. You can buy henna at Hobby Lobby or Michael's. Also, you can add enough water to Kool Aid Powder to make it pasty. NOT TOO LIQUIDY AND NOT TOO THICK. It needs to be thick enough to stay on your skin and not leak all over but not too think that it is hard to apply in desired places. Just add bits of water to the mix very slowly until its like this. GOOD LUCK. Also,You can get Air Brush Tattoos. If you want something permanent...A tattoo is what you need.
at a henna salon
you can mix about 1/2 a cup of water with 100g of henna powder and add some lemon juice, but i would check a more reliable website first, as im not too sure if this method works as im just about to try it out. good luck and hope it works out for you :)
yes you can buy turmeric powder at walmart, but it depends on how organic you are trying to get it. if your not sure try a local indian store and will be sure to have it.
No, henna hair dye is not sold at Walmart
henna is made od its plants powder (henna powder) lemon juice sugar and plant oil
I suppose you mean in powder form, Henna is never black so you won`t be able to buy it as a powder. People mix Henna with chemicals to get "black henna" which is very harmful and should not be put on skin. Sometimes people sell Indigo for hair and call it black henna but that is nonsense, you cannot use Indigo all by itself to achieve a black colour. You won`t find black henna powder anywhere, so there`s no need to be worried about that.
I think it does. Cause I had old henna powder that doesn't give color anymore. I tried new henna and it gave me lovely reddish tone.
If it is henna powder just add water to the powder until it is like a gravy sause texture
in your buttox
you can make something very similar to henna but you can not make real henna without the henna powder. I f you don't then it's not henna at all.
It is not quite the same, if you speak about natural plain henna powder, there`s powder in body art quality and powder for hair. Body art quality henna is made of leaves that were picked from the top of the plant. These were exposed to the sun a lot and therefore contain a lot of the dye molecule that you need for a satisfying colour. Henna for hair is made of leaves and plant parts that don`t contain as much dye molecules. If you dye your skin with that henna the stain won`t be dark. Those henna for hair products that you can buy from beauty suppliers mostly contain a lot of other stuff and little if any henna at all. Most of them even contain chemicals and should not be put on skin.

According to legend the gods showed Sita how to use the dried henna bushes leaves into paste for her wedding day. This is absolutely wrong and just a propaganda....See meaning of Henna as below:The English name "henna" comes from the Arabic حِنَّاء (ALA-LC: ḥinnāʾ / pronounced [ħɪnˈnæːʔ]) or colloquially حنا, loosely pronounced /ħinna/.
