Michael Ball played Raoul in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera in the London Stage play in 1990 replacing Steve Barton...when he went to Broadway with the original London Cast Phantom of the Opera. Michael Ball has on musical tours had sing the songs from Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's the Phantom of the Opera..he himself has not yet to my research played the Phantom...in the stage play. Michale Ball does appear in Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary as Raoul.
