His parachute looked a lot like a pyramid -- four triangular sides meeting at a central apex. Click link below to see it!

Leonardo da Vinci conceptualized the parachute around 1485, but he never built a working model during his lifetime. His design was detailed in his notebooks, illustrating a pyramid-shaped canopy made of cloth. Although he sketched the idea, it wasn't until centuries later that a functional parachute was actually constructed based on his designs.

He always shaped history what ever he did.
Leonardo da Vinci's artistic style was influenced by several factors, including his extensive study of anatomy, light, and perspective, which he meticulously observed in nature. His Renaissance environment, with a focus on humanism and the revival of classical knowledge, also shaped his approach to art. Additionally, his experimentation with various techniques, such as sfumato and chiaroscuro, allowed him to create depth and realism. Finally, his diverse interests in science, engineering, and philosophy enriched his artistic vision and execution.

A Pyramid
Leonardo's parachute worked just like today's modern parachutes. But Leonardo did not know that the linen cloth he used would spread itself out in the air so he made a pyramid shaped shell to spread the cloth over. Air would get caught in the pyramid and create drag, tons of it, slowing whoever is attached to it, down.

No parachute, it was a barometric fuse. The parachute spotted by some survivors on the ground was a live telemetry sensor package dropped by the lead aircraft. The actual bomb itself Little Boy had a box shaped fin which acted like an air brake loosely termed the "California Parachute" but it was not a real parachute: rather an air brake to reduce terminal velocity.

Bullet security cameras are not shaped like rifle bullets but are based upon the design of the bullets with similar aerodynamic design being used by both products.
The design developed from, a pyramid shaped pile of dirt, to the step pyramid, to the bent pyramid, to the pyramids of gaze.
