There may be way to do this, but I have tried a couple of times and cannot make it mix properly.
get some mud but ask an adult first mix it in with some water but not to much and then stir it round for 2 minuets and there you have your self some mud paint. you can make your teacher a picture but if you decide to do any picture with mud paint make sure you leave it out over night to dry. you can leave it on an old tray if you waIf you want the paint to last mix some acrylic medium in with the wet dirt. The dirt should be strained and washed first to reduce the chance of disease. There are allot of artist selling mud paintings as a gimmick that do not make it right so the paint doesn`t last. If you are buying one please get a guarantee for the seller that the paint will last. There are only 2 artist I know of that have been doing it for years and doing it the right way. One is from Louisiana and the other is from Vermont. Have Fun

Take the leaf or color that you want to the paint store. Most have a computer that can read the color and provide the recipe for the paint tint.
add a bit of flour or another thicker paint and mix it
