Air pressure is measured in different ways. Two common ones are PSI (pounds per square inch) or a barometer which measures in column inches of mercury. As we know the barometer goes up and down with weather so the air pressure goes up and down. The highest barometer reading ever recorded is about 32 inches or just over 15.6 PSI. The lowest barometer reading ever recorded was 25.69 in the middle of a hurricane so this is not typical but equates to about 12.5 PSI. These are all sea level readings. So we need an average, or normal. The standard is a barometer of 29.92 which equates to about 14.7 PSI, again being a sea level reading. With that standard the pressure at Denver is 12.1 PSI or a barometer of about 24.63. At this pressure water boils at about 202F instead of 212F.
Ocean stratification is one of the solutions to lower the sea surface temperature.
La Rinconada, Peru is the highest city in the world at 16,728 feet above sea level.
At 10,000 feet below sea level in the ocean, the temperature hovers at about 4 degrees centigrade. On solid ground, at 10,000 feet down, the rock is hot enough to boil water.
The highest sea surface temperature ever recorded was 98.6°F (37°C) in the Persian Gulf in 2019.
The highest recorded temperature for water is 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius), which is the boiling point of water at sea level.
The highest temperature recorded in Seattle is 103°F (39.4°C) and the lowest temperature recorded is -1°F (-18.3°C).
The highest temperature recorded in Mississippi was 115 degrees Fahrenheit recorded on July 29, 1930 at Holly Springs, Mississippi. The lowest temperature recorded in Mississippi was -19 degrees Fahrenheit recorded on January 30, 1966 at Corinth, Mississippi.
Depending on location, between 15 and 20 Centigrade, higher temperatures have been recorded
A2. The hottest place in the World is believed to be the Afar Depression (a.k.a. Danakil depression) where at 155m below sea level, the temp has been recorded at 69oC. Death Valley in the US, is at 86m below sea level and has recorded a temperature of 57oC.A1. The hottest temperature ever recorded was in the Sahara desert. In the US the hottest temperature recorded was in death valley, just a few degrees off of the temperature in the Sahara desert.
The hottest temperature recorded in Nome, Alaska was 87°F (30.6°C) on July 2, 2019. Nome generally experiences cooler temperatures due to its location near the Bering Sea.
Some world records in Antarctica include the lowest temperature ever recorded on Earth, at -128.6°F (-89.2°C) in 1983, the highest wind speed recorded at 199 mph (321 km/h) in 1972, and the highest elevation on the continent at the summit of Vinson Massif, which is 16,050 feet (4,892 meters) above sea level.
The lowest temperature recorded in Malaysia is 7.8 oC. It was recorded on 1st. February 1978 at Cameron Highlands which is 1471.6 m above mean sea level. According to : http://www.met.gov.my/htdocs3/english/cover/faq.html
The lowest temperature ever recorded in an Italian city was back in January 12th, 1985, in Florence, where the thermometer fell to a blowing (for Italian standards) 23,2 °C below 0. This winter it has been recorded a lowest ever between 2 Alps peaks, it was around 45° C below 0.
The highest pressure ever recorded is 1085.6 millibars (mb), or 32.06 inch of mercury (inHg). It was recorded at Tosontsengel, Khövsgöl Province, Mongolia, December 19, 2001. This is the equivalent sea-level pressure; Tosontsengel is located at 1,300 metres (4,300 ft) above sea level.
The climate sort of has to do with the temperature. If the temperature is 3 degrees then the climate is cold. So what ever the temperature is to the deep sea biome then that is the climate.
