That is the problem with quoting price per sq ft... different builders include (or purposely exclude) different things. Land, utility hook ups, permits, inspections ect.
Its about like a square but has a point on the top
The Gobi Desert is about 1,000,000 square kilometers or 500,000 square miles.
There are approximately 57.5 million square miles of land on earth, only 29.2 percent of the earth's surface.
Surface Area of Earth: 510,072,000 square kilometres (total) or 200,000,000 (two hundred million) square miles.149,000,000 square kilometres (land only).510,065,600 km2 (see related link) of which 148,939,100 km2 (29.2 %) is land and 361,126,400 km2 (70.8 %) is water. The Earth's land surface can be divided into different types: 20% covered by snow, 20% mountains, 20% dry land, 30% good land that can be farmed, 10% land that doesn't have topsoil.(See related link for graphical representation)Note: The above values are approximations. The Earth is covered in "bumps, lumps, and valleys" which increase the usable surface area. The more accurately they are measured, the larger the surface area of the Earth appears. So if one were to measure so accurately as to be taking the 'bumpiness' of individual molecules into account, then the eventual "surface area" of the Earth would be significantly larger than the above answer.
That depends on the location. A square foot of land in Nigeria will be different cost-wise than a square foot of land in Boise, Idaho.
The average construction cost per square foot for building a house in Chicago southwest suburbs is 2,520 square feet, which assumes a two-story structure. This places the construction at $117 per square foot.
I assume that you mean homes and not the actual state. I don't know what type of home you are looking for or if you mean overall average. I'd do a bunch of research but you can do this one for yourself. Look at the prices of homes that you are interested in. Take the price of the home, ($100,000) and the square footage (2,000) and divide the price by the square footage. In this case 100,000 divided by 2,000 equals 50 or $50 dollars per square foot. Then you can average. Do this for as many homes as you want. Then add the price per square foot together from all the houses you used and divide by the number of houses that you used. That is the average price per square foot for your target area. The only problem is that the land is included in the price of the house for sale so you would have to use homes that were on the same size parcels. You could search the tax estimates at your local tax office for a more accurate idea. Tax information is public knowledge. I hope this is what you were after. Have a blessed day.
There are about 1.26 acres in a 55,029 square foot parcel of land.
Land is one of the things whose price varies quite a lot, from one place to another.
No ... the land purchase price is totally separate. The SF cost of building includes the foundation and the structure built upon it.
well, as a builder i find the price varies dedepending on what materials are use to build the house and what altitude the plot of land is on. A house made out of wood would be the cheapest and easiest to build then a house made out of marble would be vary expensive and this would be un advisable. The average cost of a square foot in Bellingham, Washington is about $129,000,000.
90-120 $/sf. or more. not including the land, only construction.
Calgary has one of the highest incomes per capita because of the rapid economic growth here. The cost for building a house in Calgary could be anywhere between $175 and $250 per square foot. A 2,000 sq. ft. home can cost from $350,000 to $500,000, not including the land price. If you are going for a custom home, budget a cost of $350 a square foot.
If you are going to build the house and pay for materials only, and you already own the land I would think in the $40-$50/ft range. If you add the building, and land cost into the Sq Ft, it would be in the $75-100 Sq FT range. Track homes with land included are going to run in the $100-150/sq. ft. range. If you own the land and are having a custom builder build new, your square foot prices could run from $125-200 or more very easily. On a brand new kitchen alone in todays economy, you will spend $50k (national average).
To calculate in dollar terms per square foot per plot ratio, you would divide the total cost by the total square footage of the property and then divide that by the plot ratio. This will give you the dollar value per square foot of the plot ratio.
