Digital Photography noise is a common occurrence in photography when the setting of the ISO is too high or if you are using a cheap digital camera.

When you press the shutter on your camera, light hits the sensor, and an analog signal is produced, which is converted to a digital image. If, during this time, something messes up the particles creating the analog signal, then noise is produced.
