If your XF Falcon won't start and it's not the battery, but a new HT lead and coil is in place, check the fuel line. It might not be receiving enough fuel to get a spark.
there are 2 main reasons 1 the engine is not getting enought petrol 2 spark engine is not getting spark this is probley the cause the main thing that goes wrog with the spark is the ht coil replace this and the spark plug and your engine should start
No. The coil provides the spark and the module tells the coil when to spark.
Bad coil wire, bad coil, etc...
Replace the ECU.
If the coil is producing a spark then the HT lead between them is breaking down.
Yes, the HT coil of a distribution transformer can be damaged due to excessive load on the LT coil. The increased current flowing through the LT coil can induce higher voltages in the HT coil, leading to insulation breakdown and potential damage. It is essential to ensure that the transformer is operated within its specified load and voltage limits to prevent such damage.
to carry the electricity from the coil pack to the spark plugs

to test ht lead with out taking it out of coil pack. All you have to do is remove the 1 cylinder ht lead and pull the cylinder 5 ht lead out aswell and measure the resistance with multi meter. so now it will give you the reading. so its 1,5---2,6---3,4 ht leads.
check the connection to the coil to the battery and check your distributor
You will have to remove the air filter casing to get at them they are At the end of the HT leads from the coil
have you checked the ht leads for breaks? If is not that take your ht leads of the coil and make sure that there is no water and dust ect, if you can not see anything the only thing i can think of is may be new plugs and a coil (get these from a breakers yard cheap) and replace.
interference caused by unsupressed ht leads/coil
4, you can always find this out for any car by having a look under the bonnet and counting the HT leads! *NB - HT leads are the leads from your coil pack which disappear into the engine, which provide power to the spark plugs.
It is most likely your HT leads or coil pack.
Faulty coil pack or crap leads. try qulity leads first paying attention to detail as how you fit them is important. if all else fails coil pack is at fault.
