I've actually been researching that teapot for awhile now (I have the full tea collection, except for that piece). Back in 2009, a Lefton Magnolia teapot sold online for appx $30 US. Recently, a full Lefton Magnolia set (4 cups, 4 saucers, 4 plates, creamer, sugar, and teapot) sold for about $40 US. The coffee pot for the Lefton Magnolia tea set (which is a taller, thinner version of the tea pot) was listed on Replacements.com for $80 US, but sold on ebay for only $15 US. I'm not an official appraiser, but since the value of something is only what someone is willing to pay for it, that should give you a good general idea. I encourage you to look online and research this for yourself (My entire set of 6 cups, 6 saucer snack plates, creamer, sugar, and coffee pot cost me less than $60 total so this pattern is not terribly valuable on the market right now). If you are looking to sell the teapot, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss prices. As I said, it is the only piece I am missing from my set and wouldn't mind paying a higher-than-value price just to complete it.

Does anybody really want it .... there is lots of stuff out there and it is nice but nobody really wants the old stuff because it just sits around ... lots of young people dont have the money to pay very much or the space for storage ... If it is incomplete in some way lots of people dont want it ... so, it may be lovely but you have to find someone who is interested ... at the same time you want to sell ... otherwise you are going to keep it ... There is just so very much stuff out there now .. there are alternatives ... if you want some money for something else then you will have to move what you have when you find someone who is interested ... otherwise you might wait a long time ....
