I have to answer this one every time I change my insurers I live in a house of crossed braced construction.

The Best way to do this is imagine you are looking at the front of a terraced house. Both walls shared with next door are poured concrete my first floor --floor was built off site then dropped in to rest on RSJ's (now comes the cross bracing) which is concrete pre = stessed Pearlings or Lintle's craned in to form the roof bracing the building together .Standard timber felt n tiles over the top .

Internal walls are wood studs again built off site and packed up from the bottom.

The main front n rear is timber framed from the inside ===Plaster board ==studding==insulation==felt== then various tiles broslys (not spelt right)or a brick effect tile all being concrete.

For insurance needs, you cannot have timber cladding on a wooden frame so if you have this look to changing it PVC cladding is fine?? I have rendered the ground floor of mine and left brosly's on the first.
