His sculptures are the best that have ever been sculpted, because of their incredibly realistic human figures. His most famous sculptures are the Pieta in Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome and his David in the Academia in Florence. His painting was as good as his sculpture, even though he never considered himself a painter. His famous paintings are the Sistine Chapel ceiling in Rome and the Last Judgement, which is also in the Sistine Chapel. He was also an accomplished architect. He is the man who directed the building of Saint Peter's Basilica. He was also a very good poet, although I don't like his stuff.
