trouble! see a mechanic.

my car did that for a while and was faulty battery stopping ti from turning over. i think yours may be gearbox or driveshaft by sounds though. i really recomend not driving it when possible

It could be the pitman arm in your steering and suspension system or a wheel bearing. You could also have a damaged ball joint.

HeyKen==If the squeek is at the steering wheel, it can be the horn comtact. If it squeeks underneath the car, it is the turn stops on the front wheeels. GoodluckJoe

Why cant you turn on your car the key goes into the the ignition but it seems locked because you cant turn the ignition to get the car started?

It may be that when you shut down your car earlier you had your steering wheel turned just so. Try inserting your key in the ignition and turn your steering wheel just slightly and see if that will unlock the switch. I had that happen to me and that is all I needed to do. Hope this helped.

Why doesn't my car turn while turning the steering wheel?

That depends on which wheel. If you have the front end off the ground and the car running in gear, only one wheel will usually turn. The power will go the the wheel with the least resistance. There will always be a difference in the drive wheels. Doesn't matter front or rear wheel drive. Front wheel drive and it's one of the back ones? Brake stuck, wheel bearing, one or the other. There is so much information not given to answer this question. As mentioned above one wheel on a driven axle just simply not turning with the wheels off the ground is normal, and a function of the differential. This could be complicated significantly on a car with a traction differential or traction control. If it is simply that the wheel WON'T turn, then it could be a brake stuck, or a bad wheel bearing. If you have a four-wheel drive vehicle and one wheel isn't turning under power, again, this is a function of the differential, and is a complicated question to answer without more information.

Will a Peugeot 306 steering wheel fit a Peugeot 106?

yes, but u need to buy a 106 first. coz the wheel is proportionally smaller like the car. the steering wheel is 2.63inches smaller so u need to turn it less to go around a corner so not a good idea.
