If you're mixing everything from primary colors, you will have to mix blue and yellow to make green. If you go heavier on the blue than the yellow, it will be more of a blue-green than a straight green.

you can't make blue because it is not a secondary color, it is primary and primarys cannot be defined any farther than themselfs.

If you want different shades, try putting more blue in (for darker) or more yellow (for lighter).
