Well, the arts entertain people. They give performers the opportunity to do what they love, and give the audience a wonderful show. Some musicals can also convey important messages in ways that books and television can't (have you ever seen Cabaret? The music gave me goosebumps, and the plot was eye-opening. By the end, I was shaking and vowing to never, ever go along naively with injustice. The two hour show was better than dozens of lectures about politics, against discrimination, etc. Or Les Miserables - talk about a show that makes you want to run outside and start helping the oppressed. The music does something for you that words just can't) On top of that, budgets are a big problem in community theater companies. It is hard to wow an audience if you are cutting corners everywhere because you have no money. Sports get lots of money bacause of the pop culture craze, butthe arts usually don't. Even if you aren't a big fan of the performing arts, you have to realize that they are important to a lot of people, and a little donation on your part could mean the difference between a good show and a stunning one. If you ae giving to childrens theater, it is even better. Words can not describe how helpful theater is to children - dancing helps them be fit in the middle of a supposed obesity crisis. Memorizing lines helps with memory for tests - a lot of theater kids are good students. And of couse, it helps them get over the average persons numbr one fear - stage fright. If you are considering helping the arts, please do! I hope I've answered your question.
if your daughter has talents, put them in a performing arts school. Im going to Benjamin Floid (performing arts school) and its a really fun school for me. Also try private,fun schools. If does not work, try seperating good things and bad things about her school. If this does'ent work, im srry but idk.
{| |- | Yes, you can ask questions about martial arts. It isn't polite to interrupt an instructor in the middle of an explaination, but a good instructor will give you the opportunity to ask things. You can also approach the instructor before or after class. |}
Musical ability can always be used in worship bands or even in the christian music industry. There is also a need for good christian actors who will work with religious productions. Everything can realate to ministry as long as you do it to the glory of God.

There is no such degree as "arts, visual and performing." Performing arts is acting, voice, dance, etc. Visual arts include painting, sculpture, photography, etc. When pursing any degree, it is a good idea to have a career path in mind. The focus of your degree will determine job opportunities. You can do some research online.

It's quite difficult to find good books on performing arts online. Amazon offers a great set of books and dvd's on performings arts, but make sure you know a few good authors to look for otherwise it will be difficult to find interesting books. Some sites specialize in books on dramaturgy. Perhaps that's a great source of information and inspiration.

It really depends on what the questionnaire is meant to do. If the aim is to discover how many people are aware of local visual and performing arts venues, the questions would all relate to this basic theme. For example, Do you attend art galleries, plays, ballet, or symphony events? When was the last time you attended a performing arts venue? Do you know of local performances or art shows? and so on. Determine the aim of the questionnaire and the questions will come from that.
