Drawing is a skill that develops over a lifetime. It takes dedication and practice to become good at what you do.

There is no set amount of time that guarantees a student will become good enough to become an "artist, as in everything else, some people have a natural affinity for the observation that is the hallmark of a good artist.

Even in those who are simply out to master the techniques of drawing there is no set time.

Perseverance will eventually get each person to their own highest competency and practice, practice, practice is the only way to keep your "hand in".
