Air shocks should not be used for lifting. They are used to maintain the correct vehicle height. The shock mounts are not designed to hold the weight of the vehicle.
Easy: 1) Disconnect the air hose clips. 2) Unbolt the bottoms of the shocks. 3) Unbolt the tops of the shocks 4) Install new shocks 5) When installing the hoses to the new shocks, make sure the seals are clean and lubricate them lightly with a little silicone. Now, replacing the pressure hoses, that is a much harder job.
No.
Leave the couch an inch from the wall and you should be fine. As long as air can enter the intake then air will circulate.
Im not sure about the "air from the Earth" part, but the longest people have gone without air and survived without serious brain damge is about 40 minutes - it was a case of a young boy that fell through ice and drowned. It was about 40 minutes before he was chopped out of the ice and revived. He had no long term effects from the experience. Most pople that drown or suffocate in warm weather don't make it after about 10 minutes, and even then - they are lucky not to have brain damage. Doctors believe that when the body is plunged into cold water (nearly freezing), we go into a sort of hybernation, stretching the time we can go without breathing.
Yes you can.
This car does not come with air shocks.
I have done this and it works GREAT..!!!!! You just have to adapt your lines to fit the shocks.. Don't be afraid to buy your shocks and install them....as long as you have skills.
If you are looking to make air shocks operate like air bags, you will be disappointed.
It comes on long enough for the shocks to fill up and then shuts off. Is your car raised when it shuts off? If the shocks are in good shape without leaks, that's usually the time the compressor takes to pump up the shocks.
Shocks- some are air shocks. Shocked?
Follow the instructions that come with the shocks.
Air shocks allow the vehicle to ride smoother than regular shocks. Also, it helps the car carry greater weight over longer distances than regular shocks.
Any air shocks are good and will work on your car.
The air shocks that are made by Gabriel (Hijacker Air Adjustable Shocks) are designed for vehicles that carry heavy loads and tow boats or trailers. There are not any Gabriel air shocks that are designed for passenger cars like convertibles, sedans and coupes.
You have to replace with springs and shocks
