The 02 Chevy S10 with a 4 cylinder or a 6 cylinder does not have a timing belt.

It is inside the bellhousing. The transmission must be removed to gain access to it.
Considering the Silverado has a 6 lug rim and the S10 has a 5 lug rim, it would be an expensive project to convert the 5 lug S10 into the 6 lug pattern of the Silverado.

Double check that everything has been undone.(mounts, wiring, ground straps, fuel lines etc.)If everthing is o.k. you may just have to fight with it a bit.
Always use syncromesh fluid from the dealer.
It is inside of the transmission bell housing. You will have to remove the transmission to service it.
