Scrub the garment with turpentine. This will get rid of any oil paint. Of course the clothing will need a thorough wash afterwards to get rid of the turpentine smell. There is also this awesome product called kiss off!! When I paint with oils I tend to get it everywhere and it always gets rid of the stains!
Depends on what kind of "spray paint" we are talking here. You mean spray paint that comes in cans? Like the ones used in graffiti?
If the shirt is to be worn (I'd imagine so) I am not sure the use of spray paint (as in those that come in can) is safe to use at all. The chemicals used in such paints are usually toxic and hazardous to your health. Not something you'd want against your skin.
I am not aware of any spray paint brand that can be used for that purpose.
However, you can rent or buy an inexpensive airbrush with compressor and use regular fabric paint. This way you won't need to worry about toxicity or the possibility of it washing off the shirt.
You can also take a look on a lot of fabric paint types and tools available in craft stores that might give you the effect you want, for less money and less trouble.
Mineral oil is not used to remove paint. Mineral spirits is used to thin and cleanup oil based paints, however it will not affect the paint once it has dried. Remove dried oil based paint by scraping or use lacquer thinner to soften the paint so that it can be removed.
It depends on the type of paint. Lacquer thinner will remove most oil based and latex paints from a paint sprayer, however, spray gun cleaner will remove it better.
Depends on the paint. If latex based, scrub it first with hot water, then put in washing machine. If oil based try scrubbing with paint thinner then Goof Off, then washing in cold water. If dried more than a day, most paint is impossible to remove.
It really depends on if it is latex or oil based. Latex is easier to remove if it fresh. ( a few days old).you can obtain a latex paint remover from most paint stores or home supply stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Valu). Oil based is a lot harder to remove when dried. There might be a remover at the same stores.
I found out that Rubbing alcohol will remove dried latex paint on hard wood floors.
