How do you draw a stick person?

Draw a small circle where you want the head to be. Draw a line down from the circle, indicating the neck and torso. This is line 1. Draw two lines sticking out from the first, one on either side, at the point where you feel the neck ends and the torso (chest) begins. At the bottom of line 1, from where it ends, draw two more lines down in an inverted "v" indicating legs. Further lines may be added to the top of the circle to indicate hair, and smaller lines may radiate from the ends of the arm lines indicating fingers.
