The paintings from van Gogh's last few years were painted with clearly visible brush strokes, sometimes rather short. For a short period he used dots rather than brush strokes, i.e. pointillistc painting.

Yes he did. He liked to taste it to check if it had LED in it. It made him sick and it went to his brain
