Both products are non-irritating and help keep the skin smooth IMHO I don't itch as much when I use that combination. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T USE VASELINE, that will cause the ink to draw out of the skin and the tattoo will fade quickly
No. you want to make sure your scabs on your new tattoo are left alone. I had a new tattoo when I went to a wedding so many people hugged me that the scab was knocked off on one section of my tattoo and when that happens you loose the part of the tattoo that had the scab come off. I also suggest you follow the advice of the person doing your tattoo.
No , vaseline is not safe for a healing tattoo. It's known to fade the color out , so that wouldn't be your best bet to use.
