If the asteroid that will kill off the human race hits earth, we have until 2016.
Scientists thought that an asteroid big enough to kill off the human race was going to hit earth by 2016. They did miscalculate. However, it will miss us by only 700 miles. (which isn't a great amount of distance in space) Something could easily hit it and make it come straight at earth. If it does hit earth, you better pray you're right in the path of that asteroid. The human race will not see the sun for 13 and a half years. That would mean all plants will die. It would be like an atomic bomb going off every second for 13 years. We wouldn't survive that. that sucks
It is impossible to predict with certainty, but advancements in technology, science, and social awareness provide hope for the survival of the human race in the next 100 years. It will require collective action and global cooperation to address challenges such as climate change, pandemics, and resource depletion.
Maybe. Though unless we limit our population we will eventually be run out of resources. And could easily become extinct that way.
------------------------------
The Human race would never become extinct. We are unique, smart and a very intelligent race and specie. We will survive the coldest of weathers, hottest of heats and the worst scenario's of weather changes.
We are unique.
Within 100years we've travelled to the moon. Created the internet. Created nuclear weapons capable of destroying the earth 50times. We've created theory's which 40years ago were just fables, myths.
We can see in the future, view future and past events that will or have happened.
We can create new races in a source called Biology.
WE WILL SURVIVE. Believe me, we are unbeatable. Leave a human in a jungle on his own, come back 4years later and he'll have his own house, food supply etc...
We are smart, curious and most of all one of the best surviving races ever.
Oh and our supplies will be human made, we will find another source of creating supplies for our body. We always find a way to survive.
I am only 12 but think that the human race will go extinct in about 10000 years depending how fast we destoy our world and if we decide to face the future and improve our way of living by making ''save the world'' one of our top prioritys. I believe that each and every one of us did our bit in saving the world then that in it's self would be a huge leap in evolution of the human race!
Well, i have a religion, and believe that it will never go extinct, Haters gonna hate.
If we continue to use resources faster than they are replenished, if we continue to foul the water and air, if we continue to cut down many acres of forests for farm land, if we continue to dump our waste in the oceans, and if we continue to impact the climate of this world we will not survive. The human populous should settle around 10 billion and that's a lot for the Earth to carry. The human race is reproducing too much, however because of the increase in populous, we will exacerbate many critical environmental systems to the point where they can no longer function. We in effect are dramatically altering the systems of this world that support life and sadly we may damage them to a point where we can no longer survive. There is a chance human beings might survive, but not as we are now.
When it comes,to the human race lasting.....it won't last long. We basically going to destroy ourselves. You basically "reap what you sow".
ultimately we are most likely to kill ourselves off, for eg i didnt believe in global warming at all, and i just watched a show putting evidence towards proving its exsistance, we cant just say NOPE to what is happening and hide our fears behind denial. the human race is most likely to be finished off and when it comes we will have no one to blame but ourselves
I agree that humanities worst enemy is itself, we are a virus. Here are some other ideas. Humans have made it this far because we are innovative and highly adaptable. Even if we don't "blow ourselves up," our out of control population growth will. Another inevitable issue is how long our Earth can support life. If we were able to look at Earth 1 billion years from now it would look relatively close to how it does today, There would be tectonic movements but the necessary components for life would still be in place i.e. water. With H2O you can separate it to make oxygen and Hydrogen as fuel source. Climate would still be relatively stable, so Earth would still be your number one choice. But 2-3 Billion years from now Earth will look more like Mercury; Hot and Arid as the oceans evaporate into space. What humans must realize is that we are simply renting this planet. Eventually this planet will be condemned and we will need to sign a new lease somewhere else. So at the very most I give humans 1.5 Billion years. Remember Dinosaurs were around for millions of years. Modern Humans have only been around some 200,000 years, so unless we really screw up we should have a long time left.
Machines will destroy us. Once they are able to self-replicate, a bad human will write a virus to destroy all humans. Less than 150 years.
Nobody knows that. So I guess I'll say; until it ends....... whoever wrote this is wrong and is a $#!&* it will end on march, 7 2012. But Justin Bieber will die on March,6.
It is impossible to predict the future with certainty, but as long as humans take steps to mitigate risks such as climate change, pandemics, and conflicts, it is unlikely that the human race will go extinct in the foreseeable future. Continued advancements in technology and science also offer opportunities to solve emerging challenges.
Mankind refers to all human beings collectively. It is a term used to describe the human race as a whole.
Anthropologists study the development of the human race. They examine human origins, evolution, behavior, and diversity to understand how we have evolved over time.
Yes, human beings are all part of the same species, Homo sapiens, and share a common ancestry. In this sense, we are considered members of a single family known as the human race.
No, Kush was not a human race. It was an ancient kingdom in Nubia, located in present-day Sudan. The people of Kush were part of the larger African population.
We already did. That battle was fought some 2000 years ago.
To survive, no. The human race has survived thousands of years without the aid of toothpaste. To make you not repulsive, yes.
Doubt it.
so the human race can survive by reproducing
Without childbirth, the human race could not survive.
When the sun burns out in about 5 billion years, it will become a red giant, expanding and potentially engulfing the inner planets, including Earth. The human race will likely need to have found a new home in another solar system or have developed advanced technology to survive in this scenario.
yes we should survive because then who would ? the robots, fak no, we should survive because we are alive.
In 2 years (2012)
They kind of just withered away.. for the next generation to come along...facts of life I'm afraid, just what will happen to the human race in the next thousands of years
Nobody knows. :-/
Space Travel is essential for the survival of the Human Race, the likelihood of a large disaster wiping out our species is great. To survive we must broaden our horizons and look for new planets to live on and that can sustain human life.
The gods wanted to make a race called human. Therefore, they must make a home at the correct settings in order for that race to survive. That home is Earth.
