Etienne Brule wanted to live with the aboriginals to learn their language and culture, as well as to establish better trading relationships with them on behalf of the French. He also sought adventure and opportunities for exploration in the New World.
Atahualpa, the last Sapa Inca of the Inca Empire, had several siblings. However, the exact number is not known. Some historical accounts mention that he had full siblings as well as half-siblings due to the practice of having multiple wives in Inca society.
Juan Cabrillo was an only child, so he did not have any siblings. He was born in 1499 in Palma del Río, Spain, and went on to become a renowned Spanish explorer and navigator. Cabrillo is best known for his exploration of the west coast of North America, particularly California, in the 16th century.
The term "community of practice" was coined by anthropologists Jean Lave and Etienne Wenger in the early 1990s. They used this concept to describe a group of individuals who share a common interest or profession and learn from one another through their interactions and collaborations.
A relative refers to any person related to you by blood or marriage, such as parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. An ancestor specifically refers to someone who is part of your direct line of descent, like your grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. In other words, all ancestors are relatives, but not all relatives are ancestors.

Etienne Brule was, as far as we know, the first European to see Lake Ontario and the first European to explore the Toronto area (1615).
Historical accounts of Brule's death vary. Some say that having escaped from capture by the Seneca Iroquois, when he returned to join the Hurons, they believed that he had collaborated with the Iroquois and killed him. Brule accidentally killed a Huron Indian with an ax, then a fight broke out and he was killed in it. And then they ate him.
