Snowball was chased out of animal farm by some bllod hounds, that napoleon set onto him. Napoleon took the dogs when they were puppies and trained them to be vicious. When Napoleon brought the dogs out to attack Snowball, snowball just escaped through a hole in the hedge, and the other animals were horrified.
Napoleon convinces the the animals that all the unfortunate instances on Animal Farm were because of Snowball. He propagandized Snowball to be the bad guy and used him as a scapegoat in order to gain control. Napoleon also used the dangerous dogs to intimidate the other farm animals into not questioning him. All in all, Napoleon used power and fear the oust Snowball.
Napoleon's guard dogs chased Snowball off the farm, which made Snowball hide in a hole, never to be seen again. Napoleon immediately makes himself "Leader", and uses Snowball as the scapegoat.
Napoleon used Snowball as a scapegoat by blaming him for everything that went wrong. Such as their windmill being destroyed and their possessions going missing when he couldn't have because he was dead. He wasnt their to defend him self.
Snowball used the green table cloth to make a flag to represent Animalism.
Snowball does not die in Animal Farm. In Russian history he represents Trotsky who was assassinated after he was forced out of Russia. But Snowball does not die he is simply not mentioned in the end.
In Chapter 7 of "Animal Farm," propaganda is being spread to discredit Snowball by portraying him as a traitor and enemy of the farm. Squealer uses manipulation and lies to convince the animals that Snowball was responsible for all their problems and that Napoleon is their true leader. These tactics are used to maintain Napoleon's power and control over the farm.
It get blown down in the storm, but Napoleon blamed Snowball for ruining the windmill. Napoleon then sentenced Snowball to death.
Snowball destroys the ribbons because he views them as a symbol of human oppression and control, representing the decadence of human society that the animals are fighting against in Animal Farm. By removing the ribbons, Snowball is asserting the animals' independence and freedom from human influence.

Snowball represents Leon Trotsky, Napoleon represents Stalin. Stalin manipulated the politics to force Trotsky out of power (of the farm) and then used many of Trotsky's ideas.
Snowball wanted to spread Animalism instead, arguing that defence was not needed if Animalism was widespread. However, Napoleon believed that Animal Farm's defence was more important that the spreading of Animalism, at that point of time, because the humans may attack them.
In George Orwell's book "Animal Farm," the word "pinkeye" is used as a pretext for executing animals suspected of being loyal to Snowball. The character Napoleon, the pig leader, uses the accusation of having pinkeye as an excuse to eliminate potential opposition and maintain control over the farm.
