Skin yes perhaps in some cases but in most cases people do it for the fun of it (for sport) or they do it because they want to study them and the Jaguar sees them as a tasty meal or a potential threat and is doing what it was intended to in order to survive and the petty human who is invading their territory shoots them or does whatever it is they do to kill animals these days
