Conches are very pretty shells that usually appear in soft shades of cream, white, and/or pink. Most of the time, they are very large--as they are adapted to larger animal bodies, such as crabs--and found at the bottom of tropical bodies of water. At one end, a conch has a pointy formation that resembles a unicorn horn, and on the other it is smoother and rounder. On the bottom, there are two thick "lips" that form the gateway inside the shell.

Well...since conches are inanimate objects that are used by one or more living things, they pretty much remain the same until erosion causes them to warp.
