Virtually all the animals in the world depend on plants. They either eat plants or eat animals that eat plants.
Plants and animals have a mutualistic relationship where plants provide oxygen, food, and habitat for animals, while animals help plants reproduce through pollination, spread seeds, and provide nutrients through their waste. Additionally, animals may also help control plant populations by grazing or feeding on them.

Plants and animals are physically well adapted for that area. Plants and animals that live in a specific biome share similar characteristics with other plants and animals in that biome throughout the world.
No plants, no animals above a few anaerobic microbes. Plants turn carbon dioxide into oxygen, which animals need.

Preventing plant extinction is important for maintaining biodiversity, supporting ecosystems, and ensuring food security. Plants play a crucial role in providing oxygen, regulating climate, and serving as a source of medicine. Saving plant species also helps preserve unique genetic material that could be beneficial for future research and development.
Desalination is the removal of salt from water. Desalination occurs when saltwater evaporates and forms clouds and rain. This is a natural process that is important for all land plants and animals, and there's no reason to try and prevent it.
The era where many plants, animals, diseases, and people were exchanged between the Old World and New World was called the Columbian Exchange.
the world will have less oxygen, yet people still cut down trees and forests are getting smaller and smaller
currently it is impossible to know the exact number! It can only be guessed as we are always finding new plants and animals
Biogeography is the study of these patterns in the distribution of plants and animals around the world, considering factors such as climate, geography, and evolution.
