It started with Gaea (mother Earth) and she had children the Titans and then Kronos killed his father with his skythe because his mother told him to. Afterward, the Titans had children that became known as the gods. And eventually Zeus killed Kronos with his own skythe.
Cronus (zeus father) ate all his children as prometheus; a titan who could tell the future told him that one of his children would over-throw him.But when Cronus came to eat zeus Rhea (zeus' mother) hide him and instead gave Cronus a rock wrapped in cloth. Cronus ate the rock thinking it was baby zeus.Mean while, Rhea asked Gaia (mother earth) to hide zeus, so he was hidden on the island of crete and was nursed and breast feed off a goat-nympth, called Amalthea. The korybantes were the guardians of zeus, they were were the armed and crested dancers who worshipped the Phrygian goddess Cybele with drumming and dancing, theyre also known to have banged theyre shields togheter to cover up the sound of Zeus' crying. When zeus was fully grown, he made a special drink and told Rhea to serve to in Cronus' drink, so she did and this made Cronus throw up the offspring he had eaten; Hestia, Hades, Hera, Poseidon and Demeter, and even the rock Rhea had served him, it is beleive that Cronus spat it out and it dropped to earth and became the Agia dynati. Zeus then released the brothers of Cronus, the Gigantes, the Hecatonchires and the Cyclopes, from their dungeon in Tartarus, killing their guard, Campe. As a token of their appreciation, the Cyclopes gave him thunder and the thunderbolt, or lightning, which had previously been hidden by Gaia. Together, Zeus and his brothers and sisters, along with the Gigantes, Hecatonchires and Cyclopes overthrew Cronus and the other Titans, in the combat called the Titanomachy. The defeated Titans were then cast into a shadowy underworld region known as Tartarus. Atlas, one of the titans that fought against Zeus, was punished by having to hold up the sky. After the battle with the Titans, Zeus shared the world with his elder brothers, Poseidon and Hades, by drawing lots: Zeus got the sky and air, Poseidon the waters, and Hades the world of the dead and the underworld. (The ancient Earth, Gaia, could not be claimed; she was left to all three, each according to their capabilities, which explains why Poseidon was the "earth-shaker" (the god of earthquakes) and Hades claimed the humans that died.) This is the story of how zeus came to power. i could write more if you want, but i thought this is quite a mouthful so i right this now and if anyone whats more details or more stories on anything to do with Greek mythology, please ask, :)
His father had heard a prophecy that one of his children would overthrow his rule (he was king of the Titans) so he swallowed all his children when they were born. His wife Rhea got very upset by this and she hid their last child from him and gave him a rock to eat instead. Zeus grew up hiding in a cave and when he was old enough his mother told him about his brothers and sisters being eaten.Zeus was very angry and wanted revenge so he disguised himself and tricked his father into eating a potion containing mustard that made him throw up. Because his children were immortal gods, they were still growing inside him so when he threw up his children came out fully grown, and joined Zeus in the war that lead to the Titans being overthrown.

Cronus was told by his father Uranus and Mother Earth that one of his own sons would someday over throw him. Cronus then swallowed the first five children that his wife, Rhea, bore him: Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon to stop this from happening. He meant to swallow the next child, Zeus, but Rhea tricked him and saved the baby. She substituted a stone wrapped in cloth for the baby and gave in to Cronus. Zeus was raised by nymphs and grew to manhood in secrecy of his father. Eventually, he returned home and became cup-bearer for Cronus. After drinking poison mixed into his drink by Zeus, Cronus vomited up his five children and the stone. This is how Poseidon came to the world. After releasing his brothers, Zeus led a war against Cronus and the other Titans. The war went on for ten years when Zeus, Poseidon & Hades released the Cyclopes from captivity. In gratitude, the Cyclopes gave each of the brothers a weapon. Poseidon received a trident, Zeus a thunderbolt, and Hades a helmet of darkness. They used these gifts to finally defeat Cronus and the rest of the titans. Now that the three brothers were the rulers of all existence they decided to draw lots to determine their domains. Poseidon drew water, Zeus drew the sky, and Hades drew the underworld. And that is how "The Big Three" got their powers.
Zeus is the king of the gods in Greek mythology, ruling over the sky and thunder. He is known for his power, wisdom, and authority. Zeus is also associated with justice, law, and control of natural phenomena.
It started with Gaea (mother Earth) and she had children the Titans and then Kronos killed his father with his skythe because his mother told him to. Afterward, the Titans had children that became known as the gods. And eventually Zeus killed Kronos with his own skythe.
All of the Titans, except for Metis, Rhea, and Gaia fought against Zeus in the clash against Cronus. The Titaness Metis gave Zeus the drink to make Cronus vomit up his swallowed children and later was wedded to Zeus. Rhea told Zeus how to kill/weaken Cronus because she couldn't bear his cruelty to her children anymore. Gaia actually cared for the young Zeus while her daughter Rhea tricked Cronus into swallowing a rock rather than the baby. These women stayed loyal to Zeus until the end of battle.
Quick answer: Zeus did not kill Cronos. Cronos, like the other Titans, and all his children, is immortal and cannot be killed. There are varying accounts of Cronos' ultimate fate (usually depending on whether a Greek or a Roman told the story). The oldest accounts say that he was imprisoned in the cave of Nyx, away from the other Titans. Eventually he was released and made the king of Elysium (the place where good people go). Other account (particularly Roman) allude to him being released and living in exile in Latium, where he ruled over a Golden Age under the name "Saturnus". Cronus was told by his father Uranus and Mother Earth that one of his own sons would someday over throw him. Cronus then swallowed the first five children that his wife, Rhea, bore him: Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon. To stop this from happening. Zeus then was raised by nymphs and grew to manhood in secrecy of his father. Eventually, he returned home and became cup-bearer for Cronus. After drinking poison mixed into his drink by Zeus, Cronus threw up his five children and the stone. This is how his siblings came to the world. After releasing his brothers and sisters, Zeus led a war against Cronus and the other Titans. The war went on for ten years when Zeus, Poseidon & Hades released the Cyclopes from captivity. It is rather prosaic to think of Zeus doing a 'job' but I suppose ruling Mount Olympus. He acted as an Oracle (or told the future) at various places. He also fought the Titans, so he could be thought of as a soldier King.

The first people were the Silver Race, who were created by Zeus. They did a bunch of vile things. Sisyphus Ixion Tantalus Apollo almost went to Tarturus because his son tried to bring back the dead. Hades told him to stop, because the dead were his subjects. Zeus killed him, and in anger and revenge, he killed the Cyclops. Zeus would of sent him to Tarturus, if not for Leto's pleading. The most well known people there are the Titans.
