I don't think Zeus actually killed Cronus. He gave Cronus a potion (from Metis) that forced him to regurgitate all his swallowed children and then with the help of the Olympians defeated Cronus and the Titans. But he didn't actually kill him, just overthrew him.

Cronus has defeeated by Zeus. Zeus was almost smallowed by him. He was hidden then tricked Cronus into eating a magic earb. He trough up the other children and joined zeuses side. Zeus developed power more powerful than Cronus and he ran away. Zeus took his place and became most powerful.
