Cleopatra was the prime cause of Marc Antony's downfall although she had a willing pupil. Cleopatra learned and lured. First she learned all about Antony from Delius, one of Antony's henchmen, and then used that knowledge to lure Antony into a life of decadence in Egypt. But remember, even though Cleopatra had the money, glamour and the glitz to seduce Antony, Antony still had to agree to their relationship. He could have said no, as Octavian did.
