Because he got to rule mount Olympus and decided where everyone should go.
Um well in the 12 Olympians the gods and goddesses who were not married are: Ares, Hermes, Apollo (no fixed consort), Goddesses: Athena(decided not to get married), Artemis(decided not to get married) Demeter was technically married but to many gods, such as Posiedon, and Zeus. Although she never really had a long marriage. So i guess she can be considered as a goddess who isnèt married. Hope this helps ~*~
The conversations between gods and mortals in the Greek civilization took place at the top of Mount Olympus. Which was hard back in the day as people didn't much like climbing up snowy mountains. So alas they stopped traveling up their to visit the Gods. The Gods soon felt neglected and decided to leave Earth to start a new race of people on a world without Mountains and laziness.
