The mayans!

The god of fear and panic in Greek Mythology was Phobos
Poseidon does not fear Zeus, he respects his older brother because he is the king of the gods in Greek Mythology (Zeus is Jupiter, Poseidon is Uranus in Roman mythology).
The only Roman official with whom Jesus ever interacted was Pontius Pilate. All the other Romans with whom He interacted were soldiers and functionaries [tax collectors]. None of the soldiers who interacted with Him ever displayed any fear of Jesus. Many believed in Him, trusted Him, and asked Him to intervene for them. That leaves Pilate. Pilate wasn't afraid of Jesus either. If he had been, he wouldn't have sentenced Him to death. No, the people whom Pilate feared were the people in the crowd in the judgment court where Jesus was tried. It was their threat to begin an insurrection that he feared. That's why he caved in to their pressure. So - Who's next on the officials list?
Jesus
The Romans were the supreme rulers at that time , so every body respected them through fear.
They had him put to death for many reasons. Fear was part of it. Jesus was looked at as an instigator and provocateur and the Pharisees were afraid that he (Jesus) would eventually bring the wrath of the Roman Empire down on them.
The Romans did not fear Jesus. He was a preacher in a small corner of their vast empire and did not know much about him. The Roman procurator of Judea actually tried to defend Jesus from the accusations which were levied against his by the Jerusalem elite.

roman rulers
During the time of Jesus, Nazareth was part of the Roman Empire, which was ruled by Emperor Caesar Augustus. Rome had conquered the region and appointed local rulers, such as King Herod the Great in Judea, to govern on their behalf.
Herodians
The Germanic rulers adopted Latin Language, Roman Laws and Christianity.
My reading is, they didn't. But the Jewish religious authorities did, and to avoid big trouble with his masters in Rome, Pilate took the easy option.
Jesus was not feared by the Romans. At the time that Jesus lived, the Romans, with the exception of perhaps one or two, did not even know who he was. It was a certain faction of the Jewish priests who feared Jesus and caused the trouble. They feared Jesus because he was thought to be preaching a false doctrine and seemed to be gathering followers.
the god is Jesus and the ruler is ME!
