Zeus killed Asclepius because he was snatching the dead heading towards the under world to heal them. Hades complained to zeus that he was being robbed by asclepius and so Zeus threw a lighting bolt toward him and it killed both Asclepius and the patient he was tending. I got this from the book heroes, gods, and monsters of the Greek myths by Bernard evslin. I hope this helped. :)

Hades is famous because he is a major Greek God. He is God of the underworld and vowed to never have children.
Hades most famous symbol is his helm of darkness. The helm lets Hades become the dark or shadows and strike fear into the hearts of mortals.

Nothing in particular. The snake-on-a-staff symbol is the Rod of Asclepius who is just about as unrelated to Hades as it is possible for any two gods in the same mythology to be. (Asclepius is supposed to be one of Apollo's sons; since Apollo is the son of Zeus, this would make Hades Asclepius' great-uncle). In the US, the Rod of Ascleptius (god of Medicine) is often confused with the Caduceus, the symbol of Mercury (god of Commerce and Messengers), which has wings and two snakes rather than one, to the extent that most people don't recognize that they're two separate symbols and use them interchangeably.
There is but one case of this in mythology. It was believed that when Asclepius a son of Apollo and later the Greek god of medicine, was mortal, he had brought back to life many who had died. Consequently, the myth goes on to say, Hades brought this to Zeus; and Zeus in indignationas he feared lest men might gradually contrive to escape death altogether, slew Asclepius with his thunderbolt.

Well it depends since Apollo had 2 huge punishments, both involved being in the servitude of a human king. One of his misdeeds was rebelling against Zeus with Hera and all of the other gods and goddesses, with the exception of Hestia. The other misdeed he had done was when he murdered the Cyclopes that built Zeus' thunderbolt since he didn't dare defy him directly. This was because Zeus had killed one of Apollo's sons, Asclepius. The reason for his death was due to Asclepius' talent of healing. He was so talented, he could bring the dead back to life, which involved Hades' domain. Hades complained about this and Zeus agreed with Hades, thus killing Asclepius with a thunderbolt.

Asclepius was indeed the son of Apollo. And he was a greek god. He was said to be Greeces first doctor and the creator of the medicine. His healing powers were great enough to cure the most common of all pains and diseases. But he was too strong. he became so strong that he learned to bring people back to life. Zeus ( the king of the gods) was furious, not because Asclepius was bringing people back from the dead, but the fact he was doing it for pure profit. But the angriest of all the gods was Hades, gof of the undetworld, who now was not meating his quota of souls. Zeus gave him a warning, and Asclepius only followed it for a while. When Zeus heard he had brought another man to life again and was paid, he looked down from the heaven and zapped him with a thunder bolt. Asclepius was now a pile of ash.
