She took the helmet of invisibility from Hades and interfered in Ares's battle with some mortal, causing him to miss and to become critically injured by the counter attack. In another instance, when she fought Ares, she was bearing her father's aegis which made Ares's attack ineffective, then, in anger, she tore of a mountain top and threw it at him, effectively stunning him.
