An overlapping food chain is made-up of two or more food chains in connection with one another. For example, you have the first food chain: corn, Grasshopper, Frog, Snake and another food chain with: rice, worm, bird. Then if both food chains are merged then the worm may also eat the corn, the snake may also eat the bird, so on and so forth.
